Birthday Giraffe

Hi all! Sorry for neglecting my blog once again. I'm currently working on an activity book and it's keeping me very busy. I wanted to share with my giraffe digital doodle along with the painted version. Last night I decided to take a break and play around with some paint for fun. I decided not to sketch it out first on to paper and just go for it with the paint. I'm a beginner when it come to painting lol. I went to a two year college for graphic design and I didn't have a lot of traditional art classes.

I used acrylic paint and colored pencils for the shadows. I'm going to continue to practice painting and just have fun with it.

Also wanted to share with you my new Hello Kitty Momiji doll that added to my Momiji collection. I was so excited when they made the announcement the Hello Kitty Momiji doll collection were now available in the US. It was so hard to decide which doll I wanted to purchase there all so cute! I choose Aya and she came with a free key chain.

Lastly, after months of doing TurboJam workout (which I still love) I decided to get TurboFire. TurboFire is a big step up from TurboJam the moves are a lot more quicker and the cardio are more intense and the music is fantastic! I really like Chaleane's workout programs because she make working out fun. Well that's all for now and I hope you a great weekend with lots of sunshine! :)

Hi Tamara!! I love that painting!! I also went to design college and I only ever remember having a go with gouache once! I still love it though! Shame they don't teach more traditional craft in design though I think it would be useful! That Hello Kitty Momiji doll is adorable! And Turbofire sounds like hard work!! Thanks for stopping by my blog I really appreciate it!! :)
